Why Can't I See The Virtual Tour Image?
To view this virtual tour you will need to have Java Runtime installed on your computer. Without Java Runtime the Java Applet will not load and you will not see the virtual tour image. To download the latest version of Java click on the link below and download the installer from the web site for your operating system. Once the download is complete, run the installer and follow all installation instructions.
If you are using dial up internet access with a 56k modem to view the virtual tour then each image may take a little while to load. The status bar will tell you how much of the virtual tour image has loaded.
How Do I Rotate Around The Environment?
Place your mouse over the virtual tour image, hold down your mouse button and drag the cursor left, right, up or down to rotate around the room or area. You can also use the auto tour buttons located on the tool bar to navigate around the environment and you can stop the tour at any time by clicking on the virtual tour image. To zoom in and out simply click the + and - buttons on the tool bar.

What Is A Hot Spot?
A 'Hot Spot' is a link which is mapped onto the virtual tour image itself and allows you to jump to another area. Hot spots allow you to virtually 'walk' around the campus by linking virtual tour images (or nodes) together. When you move your cursor over a hot spot the hot spot will become active and a small text hint will be displayed to tell you exactly where you are about to go. You can also click on the show/hide hot spots button on the navigation tool bar to see where the hot spots are located.
How Does The Interactive Campus Map Work?
To make navigating around the campus easier you can use the Interactive Campus Map. The round light blue markers on the campus map indicate that there is a virtual tour image present for that room or area. The light blue camera icons indicates that there is a still photo of that area available for viewing. To jump to different parts of the campus quickly simply click on the virtual tour markers or camera icons to load the virtual tour or still photo for that area.
